Vivaldi's Church!

"Vivaldi's Church", Venice
Given that he died four years before the first brick was laid, it is difficult to see how Santa Maria della Pietà can trumpet itself as Vivaldi's church.
Plaque to Giorgio Massari and Antonio Vivaldi on the church of Santa Maria della Pietà, Venice.
Its justification may be found in the plaque which is attached to the east wall of the church. Although Santa Maria della Pietà was built by Giorgio Massari, tradition likes to record that the architect was indebted to Vivaldi for the church's perfect acoustics.

This claim is based on the belief (unsubstantiated) that before he left Venice for Vienna in 1740, the composer offered advice to the architect on the design of the church.
